This blog was never completed...moving to locations with slow internet while in Japan...

We returned to Tokyo to wrap up the Fulbright US-Japan ESD program by having a large conference that included all of our Japanese counterparts, some of whom we had not seen since our gathering in San Francisco a few months earlier. With one day to choose our own activities, I elected to take the bullet train to Kyoto. What a beautiful city!

I left Japan in early July, 2010 and will never forget the people I met and stayed with, the teachers I traveled and learn much from, and the beautiful country and people of Japan.
